| Worldchampionship Stratego 2011 England  |  | In Sheffield olafthueringer picked up Richard Ratcliffe. Together with his children Ashley and Emerson and olafs son Ruben they drove to The Park Leisure Centre in North Shields (near Newcastle). The picture doesn't show the Leisure centre but a Stratego-Peace that was built in Sheffield to honor of Richards efforts in the game. As far as he said. | |
Here you see The Leisure Park Centre in North Shields where the worldchampionship of Stratego took place: ...and the next picture shoes it inside - some players just got ready for the first tournament: Barrage (a very short stratego variantion with only 8 peaces). 
Some of the trophies... There were trophies for Barrage, Ultimate Lightning, Duel and Classic (each for Juniors and Seniors) and for the Strategothon (like 'Marathon' for those who played most of all tournaments).
